RSS or Really Simple Syndication is the web standard for delivery of syndicated content. They can be displayed in a reader or on a website. Both can be done with our feeds.

Reading RSS Feeds on your computer:

To read RSS feeds on your computer, you need to have a compatible reader. There are several readers available on the web. A quick search on your favorite search engine will give you a list of some good and bad readers.

We prefer Feed Reader. It's free and comes with a few pre-installed feeds. It's got a lot of customizable features and is very easy to use.

Once you have Feed Reader or your other favorite program installed, you just enter the URL of one or all of our available feeds from the list below. When that part of our site is updated, you will be notified. You can either choose to read the updated content right from your reader or visit the page with the new content on it.

You can copy and paste the URL into your reader of choice and stay on top of the most current Brain Bucket updates!

Displaying our news feed on your website:

You can also display our news feed on your site. There is no charge for this, and we won't force you to show any ads for us. All we ask is that you do not reverse engineer or alter the code in any way.

Displaying our feed on your site gives your site's visitors fresh content. When your site's visitors get current news and fresh content it makes them come back. Once you've made your page, there is no work on your part. Your page updates when we add new news. It's that simple

The preferred method to display our news on your website is using PHP. You don't have to know any PHP, but your server does need to be able to display PHP. To display our feed using PHP, just create your HTML page as you normally would. Where you want our feed displayed, just add the following code:

PHP is the preferred method, because your page actually displays the content in HTML. Search engine spiders get to see new and fresh content on your pages each time they visit your site. They love this! This is how we rank in the top 5 on Google for our targeted key words.

However, if your server does not parse PHP, then you can also show our feed using Javascript. Your visitors will get to see fresh new content, however, search engines won't.
